Monitor and administer the QA/QC plan, programs, and procedures to ensure materials used in construction projects comply with plans and specifications.
Monitor and administer the OSM (Operational Safety Management) aspects of the project.
Ensure work is performed according to contract requirements and meets or exceeds quality standards.
Assure the acceptable quality of materials, processes, and workmanship in the project work.
Assist Package Managers, Senior Project Managers, Construction Managers, and/or Quality Assurance and Quality Control Engineers with CSA (Civil, Structural, and Architectural) and fit-out activities, such as concrete pouring inspections and prerequisite checks (e.g., steel reinforcement, batching plant inspections, slump tests).
Issue materials receiving reports for delivered materials.
Interface with other package managers or QA/QC officers to ensure alignment of scope and contractor work.
Oversee concreting works, including inspections of rebars, formworks, slump tests, and preparation of cubes for compressive testing, in the presence of the Engineer or Consultant.
Check finishing works, including blocks, plaster, painting, tiling, ceiling works, lighting, and other MEPF (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection) embedded works, in the presence of the Engineer or Consultant.
Maintain safety standards and comply with the company’s health, safety, and environmental management system requirements.
Ensure approved benchmarks for structural and/or architectural works are followed and implemented across the project.
Conduct proactive site inspections, monitor contractor work, material deliveries, and maintain up-to-date inspection trackers, key plans, and monitoring records.
Interact proactively with contractors to ensure compliance and address non- conforming works.
Follow and maintain standards of quality in accordance with company quality system requirements.
Ensure full implementation of quality system standards, forms, and procedures.
Monitor and assess OSM balance procurement and installations.
