We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer with approximately 5 years of experience to join our technical and bidding team.
The successful candidate will play a key role is supporting design-and-build tenders, preparing structural design inputs, and coordinating the review and approval of designs prepared by third-party or subcontractor designers.
This role offers the opportunity to work across a wide range of structural systems—both concrete and steel—and t collaborate closely with estimators, design consultants, and client representatives.
Bid Support & Design Development
Provide structural engineering inputs for design-and- build proposals, including concept design, design briefs,nand preliminary calculations.
Review bid drawings and tender documents to identify structural scope, design risks, and opportunities for value engineering.
Coordinate with the bidding team to prepare technical submissions and ensure compliance with tender requirements.
Design Coordination & Review
Engage with third-party designers or subcontractor design teams to ensure that design submissions meet project, regulatory, and client requirements.
Review and comment on structural drawings, models, and calculations prior to submission.
Manage the design review and approval process, from internal evaluation to client submission and final approval.
Ensure design outputs align with construction feasibility, safety, and cost targets.
Technical & Quality Assurance
Ensure all structural designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and client specifications.
Support the preparation of technical documentation, such as design basis reports and method statements.
Maintain design records, correspondence, and revision control through established document control procedures.
Coordination & Communication
Liaise with clients, architects, MEP engineers, and project managers to resolve design interfaces and technical queries
Provide structural input during project kick-offs, design coordination meetings, and bid presentations
Support design risk management and contribute to lessons-learned documentation for continuous improvement
